About one-third of cancer survivors have chronic pain, which is almost double the rate in the general U.S. population. But there is a natural low-cost alternative that’s proven to be more effective on chronic musculoskeletal pain, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Assn. Patients who had electroacupuncture and auricular acupuncture had significantly greater reductions in pain compared to patients receiving the usual care.
